9 여호와께서 천하의 왕이 되시리니 그 날에는 여호와께서 홀로 한 분이실 것이요 그의 이름이 홀로 하나이실 것이라
The LORD will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one LORD, and his name the only name.

10 온 땅이 아라바 같이 되되 게바에서 예루살렘 남쪽 림몬까지 이를 것이며 예루살렘이 높이 들려 그 본처에 있으리니 베냐민 문에서부터 첫 문 자리와 성 모퉁이 문까지 또 하나넬 망대에서부터 왕의 포도주 짜는 곳까지라
The whole land, from Geba to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, will become like the Arabah. But Jerusalem will be raised up and remain in its place, from the Benjamin Gate to the s ite of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses.

11 사람이 그 가운데에 살며 다시는 저주가 있지 아니하리니 예루살렘이 평안히 서리로다
It will be inhabited; never again will it be destroyed. Jerusalem will be secure.

12 예루살렘을 친 모든 백성에게 여호와께서 내리실 재앙은 이러하니 곧 섰을 때에 그들의 살이 썩으며 그들의 눈동자가 눈구멍 속에서 썩으며 그들의 혀가 입 속에서 썩을 것이요
This is the plague with which the LORD will strike all the nations that fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths.

13 그 날에 여호와께서 그들을 크게 요란하게 하시리니 피차 손으로 붙잡으며 피차 손을 들어 칠 것이며
On that day men will be stricken by the LORD with great panic. Each man will seize the hand of another, and they will attack each other.

14 유다도 예루살렘에서 싸우리니 이 때에 사방에 있는 이방 나라들의 보화 곧 금 은과 의복이 심히 많이 모여질 것이요
Judah too will fight at Jerusalem. The wealth of all the surrounding nations will be collected-great quantities of gold and silver and clothing.

15 또 말과 노새와 낙타와 나귀와 그 진에 있는 모든 가축에게 미칠 재앙도 그 재앙과 같으리라
A similar plague will strike the horses and mules, the camels and donkeys, and all the animals in those camps.

■ 내용관찰
신약의 교회를 상징하는 새 예루살렘의 모습과 특징을 살펴봅시다.(10~11절)

예루살렘을 공격한 이방 민족에 대해서는 어떤 심판이 선고됩니까?(12~15절)

종교 다원주의가 득세하는 오늘날을 향해 9절은 어떤 진리를 선포하고 있다고 생각합니까?

세상 모든 민족이 오직 한 분, 하나님만을 예배하는 그날을 그려 볼 때 무엇을 느낍니까?

■ 결단과 적용
오늘 어떻게 하나님만을 높이며 예배할 수 있을지 생각해 봅시다. 이 세상과는 비교할 수 없는 하나님 나라에 대한 진리를 자녀나 가까운 사람들에게 나눕시다.
