2 ¾ß°öÀÌ ÀÌ¿¡ ÀÚ±â Áý¾È »ç¶÷°ú ÀÚ±â¿Í ÇÔ²² ÇÑ ¸ðµç ÀÚ¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ ³ÊÈñ Áß¿¡ ÀÖ´Â ÀÌ¹æ ½Å»óµéÀ» ¹ö¸®°í ÀÚ½ÅÀ» Á¤°áÇÏ°Ô ÇÏ°í ³ÊÈñµéÀÇ ÀǺ¹À» ¹Ù²Ù¾î ÀÔÀ¸¶ó So Jacob said to his household and to all who were with him, "Get rid of the foreign gods you have with you, and purify yourselves and change your clothes.
3 ¿ì¸®°¡ ÀϾ º¦¿¤·Î ¿Ã¶ó°¡ÀÚ ³» ȯ³ ³¯¿¡ ³»°Ô ÀÀ´äÇÏ½Ã¸ç ³»°¡ °¡´Â ±æ¿¡¼ ³ª¿Í ÇÔ²² ÇϽŠÇϳª´Ô²² ³»°¡ °Å±â¼ Á¦´ÜÀ» ½×À¸·Á Çϳë¶ó ÇϸŠThen come, let us go up to Bethel, where I will build an altar to God, who answered me in the day of my distress and who has been with me wherever I have gone."
4 ±×µéÀÌ Àڱ⠼տ¡ ÀÖ´Â ¸ðµç ÀÌ¹æ ½Å»óµé°ú Àڱ⠱Ϳ¡ ÀÖ´Â ±Í°í¸®µéÀ» ¾ß°ö¿¡°Ô ÁÖ´ÂÁö¶ó ¾ß°öÀÌ ±×°ÍµéÀ» ¼¼°× ±Ùó »ó¼ö¸®³ª¹« ¾Æ·¡¿¡ ¹¯°í So they gave Jacob all the foreign gods they had and the rings in their ears, and Jacob buried them under the oak at Shechem.
6 ¾ß°ö°ú ±×¿Í ÇÔ²² ÇÑ ¸ðµç »ç¶÷ÀÌ °¡³ª¾È ¶¥ ·ç½º °ð º¦¿¤¿¡ À̸£°í Jacob and all the people with him came to Luz (that is, Bethel) in the land of Canaan.
7 ±×°¡ °Å±â¼ Á¦´ÜÀ» ½×°í ±× °÷À» ¿¤º¦¿¤À̶ó ºÒ·¶À¸´Ï ÀÌ´Â ±×ÀÇ ÇüÀÇ ³¸À» ÇÇÇÒ ¶§¿¡ Çϳª´ÔÀÌ °Å±â¼ ±×¿¡°Ô ³ªÅ¸³ª¼ÌÀ½ÀÌ´õ¶ó There he built an altar, and he called the place El Bethel, because it was there that God revealed himself to him when he was fleeing from his brother.
8 ¸®ºê°¡ÀÇ À¯¸ð µåº¸¶ó°¡ Á×À¸¸Å ±×¸¦ º¦¿¤ ¾Æ·¡¿¡ ÀÖ´Â »ó¼ö¸®³ª¹« ¹Ø¿¡ Àå»çÇÏ°í ±× ³ª¹« À̸§À» ¾Ë·Ð¹Ù±ÂÀ̶ó ºÒ·¶´õ¶ó Now Deborah, Rebekah"s nurse, died and was buried under the oak below Bethel. So it was named Allon Bacuth.
9 ¾ß°öÀÌ ¹å´Ü¾Æ¶÷¿¡¼ µ¹¾Æ¿À¸Å Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ´Ù½Ã ¾ß°ö¿¡°Ô ³ªÅ¸³ª»ç ±×¿¡°Ô º¹À» Áֽðí After Jacob returned from Paddan Aram, God appeared to him again and blessed him.
10 Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ±×¿¡°Ô À̸£½ÃµÇ ³× À̸§ÀÌ ¾ß°öÀÌÁö¸¶´Â ³× À̸§À» ´Ù½Ã´Â ¾ß°öÀ̶ó ºÎ¸£Áö ¾Ê°Ú°í À̽º¶ó¿¤ÀÌ ³× À̸§ÀÌ µÇ¸®¶ó ÇÏ½Ã°í ±×°¡ ±×ÀÇ À̸§À» À̽º¶ó¿¤À̶ó ºÎ¸£½Ã°í God said to him, "Your name is Jacob, but you will no longer be called Jacob; your name will be Israel." So he named him Israel.
11 Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ±×¿¡°Ô À̸£½ÃµÇ ³ª´Â Àü´ÉÇÑ Çϳª´ÔÀ̶ó »ýÀ°ÇÏ¸ç ¹ø¼ºÇ϶ó ÇÑ ¹é¼º°ú ¹é¼ºµéÀÇ ÃÑȸ°¡ ³×°Ô¼ ³ª¿À°í ¿ÕµéÀÌ ³× Ç㸮¿¡¼ ³ª¿À¸®¶ó And God said to him, "I am God Almighty; be fruitful and increase in number. A nation and a community of nations will come from you, and kings will come from your body.
12 ³»°¡ ¾Æºê¶óÇÔ°ú À̻迡°Ô ÁØ ¶¥À» ³×°Ô ÁÖ°í ³»°¡ ³× Èļտ¡°Ôµµ ±× ¶¥À» ÁÖ¸®¶ó ÇϽðí The land I gave to Abraham and Isaac I also give to you, and I will give this land to your descendants after you."
13 Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ±×¿Í ¸»¾¸ÇϽôø °÷¿¡¼ ±×¸¦ ¶°³ª ¿Ã¶ó°¡½Ã´ÂÁö¶ó Then God went up from him at the place where he had talked with him.
14 ¾ß°öÀÌ Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ÀÚ±â¿Í ¸»¾¸ÇϽôø °÷¿¡ ±âµÕ °ð µ¹ ±âµÕÀ» ¼¼¿ì°í ±× À§¿¡ ÀüÁ¦¹°À» º×°í ¶Ç ±× À§¿¡ ±â¸§À» º×°í Jacob set up a stone pillar at the place where God had talked with him, and he poured out a drink offering on it; he also poured oil on it.
15 Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ÀÚ±â¿Í ¸»¾¸ÇϽôø °÷ÀÇ À̸§À» º¦¿¤À̶ó ºÒ·¶´õ¶ó Jacob called the place where God had talked with him Bethel.
